Reviewing the Bonuses and Promotions at 10Bet

Since being launched in 2003, 10Bet has carved out a nice little niche for itself outside of the biggest names in online sports betting. Taking a look at the online platform and its feautures, it’s really not difficult to see why – here you’ll find over 20,000 live events per month and over 1,000 pre-match and live betting options, across an impressive range of market coverage. There’s also a 10Bet Bonus and promotions range.

The welcome bonus here is a 50% match on a first deposit up to £50. This is a pretty generous and competitive offer that is sure to attract many to the site. Though a small word of warning – the wagering and rollover requirements of the 10Bet bonus are more stringent than elsewhere. Read on to find out these requirements, as well as more about the bookie and how to claim your 10Bet bonus today.

High Value Sign-up Bonus

The 10Bet sign-up bonus is designed to be the bookmaker’s star attraction to its online platform. The sign-up bonus is a 50% first deposit bonus up to a maximum of £50, which I’m sure you’ll agree, is a solid welcome offer that beats most of the competition in terms of value. The first step to claiming the 10Bet sign-up bonus is of course to create an account with the sportsbook. Head to the website and hit the join now box to begin the registration. Once you’ve registered your details, it’s time to make a deposit.

The minimum deposit to trigger the sign-up bonus here is £15, which is a little higher than at most other places. However, since the bonus will give you a 50% match up to £50, I’d consider depositing more, to get the full value from this offer. The most important thing is to enter the bonus code when depositing, otherwise the welcome bonus will not be triggered. Once your funds are safely in your account, it’s time to get those bonus funds. To activate the bonus, wager the deposit amount once on a selection with odds of at least 3/5. That’s it, your bonus funds will now be available to play with. There are of course a few restrictions when it comes to using the bonus that I’ll get into a little more below, but you’re mostly free in terms of markets and bets to use the funds on.

Alternative Welcome Offers

10Bet is not short of bonuses in other areas. There’s always a selection of promotions available, with rotating offers across different sports roughly on a monthly basis. One extra offer that doesn’t require a 10Bet bonus code is a free £10 bet on a horse-race after you’ve placed your first bet on the sport. Yes, you heard that right. 10Bet will give you your second bet on the nags on the house. The method to claim this free bet is a little unorthodox and involves sending an email to the operator, so I’ll spell things out clearly below.

After you’ve placed a first bet of £10 or more on horse-racing at the bookmaker, you can get a second bet of up to £10 absolutely free. To make this free bet, you’ll have to contact the bookie directly with your selection. So, once you know what the bet is going to be, contact the bookmaker via email with the subject line ‘racing’, including the bet number at csd@support.10bet.co.uk. This amazing offer is only available to UK customers. To withdraw any winnings, you’ll have to roll-over the initial amount 6 times on selections with odds of at least 1/2.

Good Range of Payment Methods

Available deposit Options
Deposit Method Payment Type Min. Deposit
. Credit Card £10
. Debit Card £10
. e-Wallet £10
. e-Wallet £10
. e-Wallet £25
. e-Wallet £10
. e-Wallet £10
. e-Wallet £25
. Bank Transfer £25
. e-Wallet £25

There’s a nice amount and range of different payment options available here to be used in conjunction with the 10Bet deposit bonus. The usual suspects in terms of deposit options are here, such as credit card, debit card and PayPal. There are also other online e-Wallet services, such as Skrill and Neteller, as well as the less common EcoPayz. Remember that the time taken to deposit the funds successfully into your online account differs between the different payment methods. Credit and debit cards, along with e-Wallets are usually the fastest methods. This of course applies to withdrawing any winnings too. Check out the bookmaker’s help page for this information.

Check the table to see which method best matches your requirements. One thing to note is that the minimum deposit amounts are a little higher than average here, so bear that in mind and choose a payment method accordingly, if you are a small stakes player. Also important is that a couple of deposit options are not valid with the welcome bonus. These are Skrill and Neteller, so for e-Wallet fans who want to play through the 10Bet deposit bonus, I would recommend using PayPal, or to find another method completely.

The Welcome Bonus Under the Microscope

As I mentioned at the start of this review, the T&Cs of the 10Bet welcome bonus are more stringent than at most other operators, and this may hamper the appeal of it somewhat. Firstly, the deposit minimum is £15, which is higher than the £10 minimum of most sportsbooks, although since this is a matched bonus, it does pay to deposit more in this instance. Again, deposits made via Skrill or Neteller are not valid with the welcome bonus, so find another deposit method should you wish to play through the bonus here.

Eligible Bet Types for the Welcome Bonus

  • Y Win/Draw/Lose

  • Y Correct Score

  • Y Both Teams to Score

  • N Cash Out

  • N Handicap Bets

  • N Over/Under Goals

Welcome Bonus: 50% up to £50
Bonus Code:
Minimum Deposit: £15
Wagering Requirements: 5x deposit
Validity Period: 90 days

There are also a few bet type restrictions that won’t count towards wagering the bonus. First off, cashed out bets will not count, but this is the norm across most operators. Handicap betting (except 3way handicaps), forecast/tricast bets and over/under goals also will not count towards rolling over the bonus. There are also minimum odds requirements towards contributing bets, so selections must have odds of at least 3/5. Lastly, towards the wagering requirements, the bonus amount must be rolled over 5 times before any profits can be withdrawn. This is quite a large amount, even larger than at BetVictor, where the bonus must be rolled over 4 times to be withdrawn. You’ll have 90 days to do this, after which any winnings accrued will be forfeited. It was smooth sailing for the 10Bet welcome bonus review until this point, but I think it’s fair to say that the T&Cs make things a little less appealing than at first glance.

Small Range of Promotions

There’s a relatively small range of other promotions available here. The bookmaker has a regular accumulator insurance offer which covers accumulators consisting of bets across all sports markets. This is a nice touch, as these insurance offers are normally available for specific sports and usually only for football, tennis or horse-racing. The insurance offer covers accumulators of 5 or more selections up to £50 should they lose by just one leg and can be used a maximum of 10 times each month. The funds will be returned as a free bet.

10Bet also offer guaranteed best price on horse-racing, which makes it as good a place as any for fans of this sport. There are other promotions, but these are alternative sign up offers, rather than regular or temporary offers. The free horse-racing bet I mentioned above is the current alternate, but these alternative offers do seem to revolve roughly on a monthly basis.

Is There a Loyalty Scheme?

Like most of the operators reviewed here, there’s not a standard loyalty scheme in place to reward regular customers, either through a points system or the occasional free bet reward. That said, there is the high value welcome bonus and the range of promotions, that the bookmaker sees as the reward for users of the site.

An Overview of the Bookmaker

10Bet was launched online in 2003 and has steadily grown to offer a great range of market and betting options. It is associated with the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) and licensed by the Gambling Commission, so punters can feel safe in the knowledge that the bookmaker is properly licensed, runs with integrity and that there is an independent platform available should disputes arise.

Unfortunately, there are no live streams available on the site. There are also no mobile apps available for download. On the plus side though, the 10Bet website is compatible with all types of mobile devices, so all mobile and tablet users can access the site through the web page. Customer service is offered round the clock, via email, phone or fax. However, there is no live chat, which means you’re likely to have to wait longer for a response to a question than at most other operators. 10Bet do promise to respond to email enquiries within 24 hours however.

Does What it Says on the Tin

Despite lacking a few features compared to other operators, 10Bet has it where it counts and what it does, it does well. The welcome offer’s cash value is definitely in the upper echelons of those reviewed on this site and the bet type restrictions are fair. That said, the rollover requirement, minimum deposit and the odds thresholds are especially high, which admittedly takes away some of the appeal. Though with multiple sign-up offers available at any one time, this bookie is sure to always have something to pipe up your interest. While the range of regular bonuses might be small, the market coverage and odds levels are good enough to hold the attention of even the most serious of punters.
