Luke Littler – 11/8
There is no mystery to the favouritism. Littler opens against Norway’s number one Cor Dekker, an 80/1 outsider, and the seedings keep the other leading names on the opposite side of the bracket until the closing stages. At 11/8 he is a warm favourite, and short prices on the World Series are rarely generous given how brutally the best-of-11 sprint format can bite. Even so, the depth of his form makes him a justified favourite rather than an inflated one, and he looks the one to beat in Copenhagen.
Luke Humphries – 5/1

The world number two pushed Littler all the way in the Premier League final, posting 105.60 in defeat, the second-highest losing average ever recorded in a final of that competition. His route is the toughest, though: he opens against the in-form Jeffrey de Graaf, with a likely quarter-final against Gerwyn Price to follow. The price reflects a player good enough to win it but handed the hardest path of the leading contenders, and he shapes up as the most natural alternative to the favourite.
Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price – 7/1
Two former champions share the 7/1 line.
