BETDAQ is a betting exchange, so its welcome offers work nothing like the free bet deals you will find at most bookmakers in 2026. Rather than a matched free bet, new customers choose between having their first month of commission refunded as withdrawable cash — up to £1,000 with the code DAQBACK — and paying no commission at all for their first 100 days with the code 0COMM100. A separate casino promotion gives you 75 free spins on Starburst for a £25 stake. Below we work through what each offer is actually worth, who is shut out of it, and what time constraints are in place.

BETDAQ takes a flat 2% cut of your net winnings in each exchange market, and this offer hands that money back to you. Sign up with the promo code DAQBACK and, at the end of your first 30 days, the commission you have paid is returned to your account as withdrawable cash rather than as a bonus balance or a free bet. The maximum refund is £1,000.
That ceiling is where the headline number comes from, and it is worth being clear about what reaching it would involve. Commission is only charged when you finish a market in profit, and it is charged at 2% of those net winnings. Collecting the full £1,000 therefore means winning £50,000 net across exchange markets inside a single month. Very few new accounts will come close. The honest way to read this offer is that it makes your first 30 days effectively commission-free up to a limit almost nobody will reach — genuinely useful, but what you personally get back is set by how much you win, not by the number on the banner.
The qualifying conditions are narrower than they first appear. You have to fund the account with a debit card: opening it with PayPal, Skrill, Neteller or MoneyBookers takes you out of the promotion, even though BETDAQ happily accepts all four for ordinary deposits and sits on our list of betting sites that accept PayPal. It is open to UK customers only, and it is closed to API and RDT customers, which rules out anyone betting through automated or third-party software.
BETDAQ runs a second exchange welcome offer and a separate casino one. The two exchange deals are mutually exclusive, so the first thing to settle is which of them fits the way you bet.
Enter 0COMM100 at registration and your commission rate is set to zero for 100 days. The clock runs from the date you register rather than from your first bet, and on the 101st day the account reverts to the standard rate. It applies to all exchange sports, from racing to football. There is no cap and nothing to claim at the end, so instead of the one-off free bet you would get from most horse racing betting sites or football betting sites, you keep the whole of your net winnings on every market for more than three months.
For most bettors this is the stronger of the two offers. The cashback deal only covers 30 days and only refunds a percentage you have already paid; this one removes the charge entirely for over three times as long. The cashback offer wins in one specific case — a big winning month inside those first 30 days, where 2% of a large sum is worth more than 0% on a slower start.
The exclusions are wider here than on the cashback offer. Debit card deposits only, again. It is open to UK and Irish customers, making it the only one of the two available in Ireland. It is closed to API, RDT and trading software customers, a broader restriction than the cashback offer’s, which names only API and RDT accounts. Anyone signing up via OddsMonkey is excluded, and taking this promotion permanently rules you out of any future 0% commission offer at BETDAQ. Duplicate accounts are filtered on IP address, email, home address, phone number and payment source, with the offer limited to one per person, household and shared computer.
The casino side has its own code, SPIN75, and it is the one BETDAQ offer that behaves like a conventional welcome bonus at other casino sites. Register with the code, then stake £25 on eligible slots within 7 days of signing up and 75 free spins on Starburst are added to your account.
The timing clause is what catches people out. The £25 has to be staked on your first calendar day of casino play, so if you open the games lobby on a Monday and put a few pounds through, Monday is the day the whole £25 has to be wagered. Spread it over two evenings and you do not qualify. Assuming you do, the spins are credited by 23:59 the next calendar day, expire three days after they land, and are set at 10p each — £7.50 of spin value in total, tied to one slot.
Deposits for this offer can be made by debit card or PayPal, which is a little more generous than the exchange promotions allow. Even so, £7.50 in spins for £25 staked is modest by current standards, and the short expiry gives you very little room to forget about it.
BETDAQ keeps a short promotions list compared with the big fixed-odds betting sites, which is normal for an exchange — the commission rate is the ongoing offer. These are the standing promotions at the time of writing.
Claimed with the code V1010, this one is aimed at customers who have not bet on BETDAQ’s virtuals before. Place a £10 first bet on exchange or sportsbook virtuals at odds of 2.0 or greater and, if it loses, you receive a £10 free bet. The free bet has to be used within 7 days at odds of 1.5 or greater, works only on exchange or sportsbook virtuals, and the stake is not returned with any winnings. Debit card deposits only, UK customers only.
BETDAQ boosts the price on a rotating set of markets and events, grouped together in an Enhanced Specials section. There is no code and nothing to opt into — the boosted prices are simply there while they last, so it is worth a look before you place a bet on the standard market.
Beyond those two there is very little: no ongoing casino promotions for existing players, and no loyalty scheme that converts into anything spendable, since commission points carry no cash value. If a regular stream of free bets and reloads matters to you, a traditional bookmaker will serve you better. If low, predictable costs matter more, that is the trade BETDAQ is asking you to make.
BETDAQ is operated by Exchange Platform Solutions Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account number 34865 for customers gambling in Great Britain. Customer money is held apart from company funds by BETDAQ Trustee Company Limited, a related company set up for that purpose, an arrangement the operator says meets the Gambling Commission’s medium level of protection. The controls below are set from the My Account area:
An exchange offer is hard to compare directly with £30 in free bets from a fixed-odds bookmaker, because one lowers your costs and the other hands you a stake. If you want to weigh BETDAQ against the traditional alternatives, these are worth reading first.
